How to book

We are not taking any bookings for 2024 or beyond.

Renovations to the farmhouse mean it will be out of action for the foreseeable future. Please follow us on social media for updates.

We have opted not to use an on line booking system or a proprietary email enquiry form. We prefer a more personal system where you can ask questions, and give us a bit more detail of your requirements. Just send us an email or call us with the dates you would like to come, the number of guests (and dogs), cot requirements, and any accommodation or travel queries. Please check our availability calendar below.

Booking information

  • A deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking, with the balance due 2 months prior to arrival.

  • We are now running a flexible / rolling system for our changeover days. Please contact us with your preferred dates and we will do our best to accommodate you..

  • If your stay is longer than a week we provide a second set of bedlinen and extra towels, included in the price.

  • It can be difficult to organise dates if there are several of you coming together. Let us know when you email, and we will hold the booking for a day or two whilst you talk the dates through.

  • If it is your first visit to Balnahard, or if you have a lot of bodies and baggage, we will meet you off the ferry and see you into the house. The track from the public road to Balnahard is a little bumpy in places and not suitable for sports cars!
